Butler Township is continuing to discuss plans with Butler County about giving residents an option to recycle glass.
Since no trash hauler is accepting glass for recycling anymore, the township is considering a proposal from CAP Glass that would allow residents to bring glass to a central location for recycling.
The county could decide to participate in a shared agreement and allow for a larger collection from all county residents, but those details are still being worked out.
More information is expected to be available next month.
