Changes to Butler Transit Authority Bus Routes have been approved as the organization prepares for the opening of a new terminal next month.
Several modifications will take effect Oct. 1, including a stop added to Route 1 at the back of the Moraine Point Plaza; Routes 2 and 4 are being combined into one route with Saturday service; the North Butler stop on Route 3 will no longer be serviced; and there will be two additional trips per day for Route 5.
Several times have also been adjusted and some stops have been moved. Riders should contact the Butler Transit Authority for questions or visit the authority’s website.
Also effective on Oct. 1, the authority’s terminal will move from East Cunningham Street to West New Castle Street.
