The Butler Transit Authority is teaming up with the Butler YMCA to reach area seniors.
Representatives from the YMCA approached the authority with the idea for cross promotion. The Authority Board went on to approve a mailer at a one-time total cost of $2,700.
The Authority already has a bus stop near the YMCA. The cooperative agreement includes information about YMCA membership in the Transit Authority mailer, as well as information about the bus at the YMCA and on the YMCA’s website.
The mailer is expected to go out sometime around the middle of December.
