Six Athletes from Butler High School competed at the New Balance Nationals Indoor Track & Field Championships over the weekend at The ArmoryTrack in New York City. The Girl’s 4×800 Relay team of Liz Simms, Maggie Welty, Erin LeMay and Chesna Tomko finished in second place in the Emerging Elite Division with a time of 9:23.96. That time was almost 10 seconds faster than their school record setting run of 9:33.28 two weeks ago at the PA State Indoor Championships.
Jena Reinheimer qualified in the Championship Division of the Weight Throw and had a toss of 13.11 meters. She finished in 23rd place. Noah Beveridge qualified in the Championship Division of the Mile Run. He ran 4:18.52
