An overnight car accident has knocked out power for some West Penn Power customers living in Butler Township.
The accident, which occurred on Saxonburg Road around 2am on Sunday morning, resulted in at least one person suffering unknown injuries. No additional information about the crash was immediately available.
According to West Penn’s website, an estimate of their customers within the township without power falls between 500 and 1500 residents. Crews are estimating that power will be restored to customers by 10am Sunday morning.
