Police have charged a Cabot man with theft after he allegedly stole from Game Stop in Butler Township.
William Burke, 36, is accused of stealing about $44 worth of items from the Butler Commons store earlier this month.
Butler Township Police say this arrest is not connected to an alleged robbery of the same store on Sunday (JAN 10). In that incident, a man entered the store stating he had a gun, ushered employees into a back room and took an unspecified amount of cash and merchandise.
Police tell us they have not yet made an arrest in Sunday’s case and are continuing to look through surveillance footage. They declined to comment if they had any leads.
