Two people were treated for injuries they suffered in crash last week in Butler Township.
According to police, 50-year-old Richard Brown of Butler was driving northbound in the 700 block of Mercer Road shortly before 6 p.m. last Friday (4/8) when he lost control.
Brown traveled across traffic and into a yard before hitting a tree. Brown’s vehicle then continued on before hitting a parked car in a private lane.
Brown and his wife who was a passenger in the vehicle were taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment of their injuries. The owner of the parked car who was in the vehicle at the time of the crash sustained minor injuries. Brown was cited for careless driving and driving at an unsafe speed.
