A Butler woman is recovering following a multiple vehicle accident on Route 8 South last week.
Butler Township Police responded to the Route 8 intersection with Cooledge Street last Friday (11/4) just before 4 p.m.
A vehicle driven by 50-year-old Tina Schmidt had collided with a vehicle stopped in traffic ahead of her driven by 22-year-old Misty Jordan of Butler. The impact of that crash pushed Jordan’s vehicle into a third vehicle that was also stopped in traffic.
Schmidt was treated for an unspecified minor injury and cited by police for careless driving. Her vehicle was disabled and had to be towed. No one else was injured.
