A new member and a returning familiar face have both been installed for four year terms as Butler Township commissioners.
Fred Vero was administered the oath of office by Judge Thomas Doerr at Tuesday night’s reorganizational meeting. Commissioner Sam Zurzolo was also sworn-in to serve another term.
Commissioner Dave Zarnick was appointed to again serve as Board President. Commissioner Sam Zurzolo was chosen to continue as Board Vice President. Department assignments will be determined at an upcoming meeting.
In addition, the Butler Township tax collector and volunteer fire department officials also took an oath of office to serve the Township for the upcoming year.
