Events, focused on the recovery process, in Butler are scheduled for Thursday, August 31, 2017, which is National Opioid Overdose Prevention Day. It will be a day of education and a reminder to people that recovery happens.
It is a gentle reminder to those people who are currently battling drug problems that they can be overcome, but it won’t come easy.
Drug rehabilitation centers tend to be the most common method that sufferers turn to when they want to turn their life around. And these types of establishments have been set up for this very reason. You’ll even find some of the Best Addiction Rehab Overseas in countries like Thailand that are ready and able to treat all sorts of addictions and empower people to take control of their lives once again.
After rehabilitation centers, outside life can be challenging for many. This is why many in recovery opt for sober living systems. For example, Transcend’s Los Angeles sober livings can give the patient a combination of freedom and structure to help them readjust to life outside rehabilitation. Most sober living facilities have amenities and staff for monitoring the patients’ continual progression in their recovery.
Whilst the owners may have been required to look at substance abuse billing strategies, as well as learning how getting the most from insurance policies can benefit them, they all have the best interests of their patients at heart.
And that is to help those people who wish to recover from their drug addiction.
Counselor Ruth Ann Durso, with the Butler Health System, says these sessions are not only for those who are facing addiction, but for families as well.
The 9 AM morning session will be at the Government Center in Butler with a speaker focusing on the recovery process. An RSVP is required for this event due to limited space. Email [email protected].
Another presentation will take place from 12pm-2pm in Diamond Park, with the Butler County Commissioners in attendance, Butler County Judges who are in the specialty courts, and the Special Assistant to the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services. This second session does not need an RSVP since there will be more space for seating.
Both sessions are free and open to the public.
