Butler High School students and staff are gathering today to honor a fellow classmate who died in a car crash last weekend.
Students are releasing balloons at 4 p.m. today in the senior high parking lot to celebrate the life of 18-year-old Ethan Linnon. Ethan was a well-liked senior at Butler and a member of the cross country team. He was killed in an early morning crash last Saturday in Penn Township. Two passengers are recovering.
Other remembrances will take place before tonight’s Butler High School football game. Also a candlelight vigil is planned for 6:30 p.m. tomorrow also at the senior high parking lot.
