The Butler Area School District has unveiled a new mobile app as it prepares for the upcoming school year.
The app can be used to view district news, alerts, the staff directory and other website information.
The district notes that this app is separate from the Parent Portal app for Tyler, the district’s new student information system. That is where parents can keep track of their student’s grades, assignments and attendance.
The district says if parents were previously using the old BASD mobile app through Blackboard, they should delete it from their device.
To download the new BASD mobile app, follow these steps:
- Search “SchoolPointe” in your app store.
- Download “SchoolPointe Stay Connected.”
- Open the app and search “Butler Area.”
- Select Butler Area School District and you’re all set.
