The Butler School Board will hold their meeting tonight in Herman instead of in the district’s administration building in Butler Township.
The meeting will take place in the Herman Volunteer Fire Hall. The education committee meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m.; the finance committee meeting starts at 6:30 p.m.; and the meeting with the entire school board will begin at 7:30 p.m.
An update is expected on Summit Township Elementary School. Crews are in the process of connecting the school up to public water after problems surfaced last year regarding unsafe levels of lead and copper in the school’s water. At that time, the school was running on well water.
