Candidates interested in the currently open position on the Butler Area School Board are encouraged to make their intentions known.
After accepting the resignation of school board member Leland Clark who is starting a job with the same law firm employed by the district as solicitor, remaining board members approved an advertisement for the position during a meeting on Monday.

Interested people should submit a letter of interest along with a resume to the district by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25. Candidates will be interviewed publicly on the evening of Monday, May 7 by the board during their next meeting. The successful applicant will then be appointed to the board during the following meeting on Monday, May 14.
