The Butler Area School Board has changed the location of their monthly meeting scheduled for Monday.
The meeting will now take place inside the Butler Intermediate High School Library. Start times are the same: 6 p.m. for the Committee of the Whole and 7:30 p.m. for the regular meeting. Both are open to the public.
Butler School Board meetings are usually held in the lower board room of the Harriger Educational Services Center, commonly known as the “Administration Building,” which sits next to the Senior High School. However, the board and administration are considering permanently moving their district offices from that building to the Intermediate.
If the offices are moved this summer and that building is vacated, all Butler School Board meetings could be held in the Intermediate School Library in the future.
