Two hundred poinsettias were delivered to Butler County residents living in nursing homes on Sunday.
The effort was part of Butler Radio Network’s ‘Project Poinsettia’ campaign, which seeks to bring a little joy to some of the county’s most vulnerable residents during the Christmas season.
In addition to the gift of a poinsettia, residents of the Lowrie Place and Sunnyview in Butler Township, and Shelbourne in Saxonburg were treated to a holiday performance by the dancers of the Butler Center for the Performing Arts.
Butler Radio teamed up with several local businesses to make ‘Project Poinsettia’ happen.
