Butler Prepares For Annual Christmas Parade

Butler’s annual Spirit of Christmas Parade will be held Saturday in downtown Butler.

The theme this year is ‘A Cartoon Christmas.’ The parade will once again be a night parade beginning at 5:30 p.m. with many of the floats decked out in lights.

Celebrations, however, will begin at noon downtown with activities including a life-sized candy land game inside the Butler YMCA, an outdoor skating rink in the parking lot of People’s TWP, and activities at the New Castle Street Plaza.

The parade will be taped by Armstrong and aired throughout the month of December.
