The Butler Area School District will still use traditional snow days this upcoming winter.
Despite the growing popularity of remote learning days whenever snow hits, the district is opting to continue giving students the day off. They say make up days will be rescheduled later in the year.
However, if there are a couple of consecutive days of school closures, the district may utilize flexible instructional days.
They also encourage parents and guardians to update their contact information in the “Tyler Portal” so they can be contacted immediately in case of a delay or closure.
