Butler Memorial Hospital is once again receiving high marks for their care by an independent watchdog group.
The hospital recently earned an “A” Safety Grade from the Leapfrog Group for the fall of 2020.
Healthcare workers continue to spend long and stressful hours on the front lines of the fight against the coronavirus pandemic and this ranking looks at 27 measures of safety data to assign grades to 2,600 hospitals twice each year.
Butler Health System President and CEO Ken DeFurio expressed pride in this achievement when he recently said ““BMH has been named one of the 105 Top Hospitals, and one of the Top 29 General Hospitals, in the U.S.! Congratulations to our staff on a superb effort and great achievement. BMH again proves that it is one of the best hospitals in the United States.”
The independent Leapfrog national watchdog organization was established more than a decade ago to further the quality of care in the country through data collection and public reporting initiatives.
