A Butler man will serve time in prison after being convicted of embezzlement.
Keith Simpson, 60, has been sentenced to six months imprisonment followed by three years of supervised release, according to a news release from acting U.S. Attorney Soo C. Song.
Simpson was indicted by a federal grand jury in February with embezzling about $42,000 from West View Savings Bank between 2014 and 2016. During that time, Simpson was serving as the bank’s chief accounting officer.
