A man is in the Butler County Prison for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl at a Butler City park.
28-year-old Dalton Best of Butler was charged with statutory sexual assault and corruption of minors following an alleged rape that police say happened on August 31st at Butler Memorial Park.
Best allegedly told police during the investigation that he knew the victim was 15-years-old and that he had sex with her.
The victim reported the crime to police on September 10th. Best is in jail on $25,000 bond.
