The Butler Area Public Library is continuing to take measured steps toward returning towards in-person service.
The ability for patrons to use a Grab and Go Holds Pickup service will begin next Monday, June 8.
Those with library cards will be able to use the card to request holds on items either online or by phone. A library employee will call the patron back to schedule a pickup time when the hold is ready. The item will then be available in the library lobby at the assigned time. A receipt with a return due day will be included.
Those Grab and Go Pickup hours will be Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m. Special hours for vulnerable populations will be offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 to 10 a.m.
The library is not accepting used book donations at this time.
