Those looking to enjoy a fall day with a good book are invited to take advantage of some good deals at a local book sale.
The Friends of the Library will open a used book sale from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday as well as 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday 9 to noon at the Butler Area Public Library.
Visitors will be able to browse and choose from many different genres including fiction, art, home decorating, history, and cookbooks at a cost of a dollar for hardbacks and 50 cents for paperbacks.
Saturday will feature a bring your own bag to fill for $5 deal. Cash or check will be accepted but not credit cards. All money collected at this event will go to support the Butler Area Public Library.
