The Butler Jr High Track & Field teams swept the team titles at the 31st Annul Butler Jr High Track & Field Invitational Saturday afternoon. Jayla Robinson won the 100 Hurdles and 300 Hurdles as was named the MVP of the track. Megan Baggetta claimed first place in the Triple Jump. Justine Forbes won the 200 while Dacia Lewandowski added a victory in the 400. The Butler Girl’s won all three relay – the 4×100 team of Lewandowski, Ella Rekich, Forbes and Carmen Skal, the 4×400 team of Addie Thomas, Skal, Rekcih and Lewandowski and the 4×800 team of Tori Stevenson, Krislyn Green, Samantha Cornell and Addie Thomas. Carlie Baker placed second in both the Discus and Shot Put.
For the Boy’s – Sean Christy won the 400 meters. Omar Taoufil was second in the triple jump and the 4×800 relay team of Owen Davis, Joel McCloskey, Bryce Dryden and Isaac Boring also placed second. Austin Weakland added a second place in the 400 as did Noah Kollinger in the 110 Hurdles. Luke Campbell was third in the long jump and Noah Nichols was third in the 300 hurdles. Other third place finishers were Liam McElroy in the shot put, Joel McCloskey in the 800, Drew Griffith in the 3200 and Adam Deal in the pole vault.
