Thousands of people traveled into downtown Butler over the weekend for the second annual ‘Butler Italian Festival.’
Highlights included bands, eating contests, a meet-and-greet with Gianni Russo (he played Carlo in “The Godfather”), and of course, the homemade Italian food. ‘The Jersey Four’- a Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons tribute band performed on Saturday.
Some people spent the festival riding a 90-foot Ferris wheel, which was set up in a parking lot off Main Street.
The event ran Friday, Saturday and Sunday on Main Street in Butler, between Jefferson to Brady streets.
