Butler Memorial Hospital has received recognition for their ongoing commitment to the best care possible for strokes.
The American Heart and Stroke Association has presented the hospital with the Get With The Guidelines – Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award.
To receive this award, hospitals have to achieve a high level of compliance with the latest appropriate treatments recognized for strokes over at least a two year period. This is the third time Butler Memorial has received this designation.
The research-based recommendations of the Get With The Guidelines program are designed to speed recovery and reduce death and disability for stroke patients. For more information, visit heart.org.
