The Butler Area Class of 2019 Commencement Ceremony will take place this evening.
The ceremony is scheduled to happen in the stadium at the Senior High, weather permitting, and begin at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are not needed to attend the ceremony in the stadium.
In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved to the Senior High School gym. Each student will then receive four tickets for his/her family and friends. If graduation is moved to the gym, a live feed of the ceremony will be shown in the auditorium. Tickets are not needed for the auditorium.
The Class of 2019 includes 495 members- down from about 25 from last year. The class officers are: President: Sophia Lex; Vice President: Zachary Callithen; Secretary: Jenna Kriley; Treasurer: Eliza Drohan.
