Students at Butler High School will wear yellow to tonight’s football game to honor a classmate killed in a car accident this week.
Senior Alex Hunter died Tuesday after crashing into a tree on his way to school. A popular local Twitter handle run by student sports fans urged students to wear yellow to the game to support Alex (yellow was his favorite color) and also to honor graduating senior football players who will play their last game tonight.
Butler will play Canon-McMillan at 7:30 p.m. in the last regular season football game of the year.
