A local company has made a generous monetary donation to a couple of Butler High School clubs.
At their agenda setting meeting Monday night, the Butler School Board was presented with a donation by Penn United for use by two different robot clubs at the Intermediate and Senior High Schools.
A Penn United training coordinator on hand to present the money to administrators specified that it be used by the Battle Bot club as well as the Sea, Air, and Land Challenge club.
Penn United has assisted Butler High School students with designing and constructing robots for these competitions for over three years.
