For the safety of patients, health care providers, and the community at large, no visitors will be permitted at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Butler Health System has announced that the new visitation restrictions to reduce transmission of coronavirus will take effect beginning Monday at 8 p.m.
The hospital will continue to be fully operational and under normal operations including inpatient and outpatient treatments.
Exceptions to this new visitation policy will be made for surgical patients, outpatient care if necessary, mothers having a baby, and end of life care patients. Visitors meeting those exceptions will still be screened for symptoms before being allowed into the hospital.
