The Butler Health System has released new data regarding the impact of COVID-19 in Butler County.
Through Friday (March 27th), 902 tests have been administered at BHS facilities. Of those tests, 645 occurred at the outdoor facility at Butler Memorial Hospital, and 113 were obtained at Clarion Hospital’s outdoor facility.
As of 10am on Saturday, 13 patients were receiving treatment at Butler Memorial. Ten of those cases are suspected, and six patients are in the Intensive Care Unit. At Clarion Hospital, three patients are receiving treatment, with one case being confirmed.
Officials thank local businesses, residents, and organizations who have donated personal protective equipment (PPE). Although supply availability is adequate at this time, Butler Health System will continue to receive donations of personal protective equipment.
