Butler Health System is reducing healthcare costs for employees in hopes of retaining and hiring more employees.
Hospital officials describe the move as an “unprecedented effort to remain an employer of choice and to retain and recruit the best talent.”
The health system is rolling back requirements on home host deductibles and coinsurance for 2022 on its PPO healthcare plans for employees.
Hospital officials say employee retention and recruitment has become an urgent matter in most health care settings and hope this move will serve as a way to shore up their workforce.
