Butler Health System plans to integrate another major local health provider into their operation.
Clarion Health System and its affiliates—including Clarion Hospital—will soon merge with Butler Health System after the two systems signed a letter of intent Thursday.
According to a press release, the move was made as an effort to solidify the future of care in their communities.
The deal hasn’t been finalized yet, as both systems plan to negotiate and complete a definitive agreement.
