High School Sports Scores from Tuesday:
The Butler Girls Track & Field team clinched the WPIAL Class Triple-A Section-3 championship with an 84-66 victory over Seneca Valley. The Golden Tornado finish the section season undefeated at 6-0. Maegan Emanuel won the 300-meter hurdles with a career-best time (48.4). Jena Reinheimer won the shot put and discus. Maggie Welty won the 1600 and 3200 while Taylor Weaver won the Pole Vault. Kylee Lewandowski was victorious in the pole vault. Maddie Tonini won the 400 while Alexis Leech won the 200 & 800. Tabby Wilbert ran a season best in the 100 hurdles with a time of 15.76.
–Knoch split with Hampton. The boys won 78-67. The girls fell 82-59.
Baseball:
–Moniteau-6 Clarion-Limestone-2.
–North Clarion-3 AC Valley-2.
Softball:
–Moniteau-18 Clarion-Limestone-0. (3-innings, 15-run rule). Gabby Stewart, Kennedy and Kristina DeMatteis combined for 10 RBI’s for the Warriors. Moniteau scored 11-runs in the first inning and added seven in the second. Kennedy did not allow a base runner, striking out six of the nine batters she faced. The Warriors are now 13-0 and ranked in the top-25 nationally.

Boys Lacrosse:
–Freeport-12 Aquinas Academy-5. The Yellow Jackets scored seven goals in the opening period for their fourth victory in a row. They are now 7-4 overall. Corey Schrecengost and Evan Schaffhauser had four goals each for Freeport. Sean Fennel added two.
The Penguins open their series in Washington tomorrow night with a 7:30pm face-off.
