The Pennsylvania Secretary of Agriculture will be visiting the Butler Farm Show Friday.
Russell C. Redding will be attending the awards presentation beginning at 7 p.m. in order to name the outstanding farm family. This is the first time in a while that the Butler Farm Show has received the honor of this kind of visit.
Also on Friday’s schedule are free traditional country music shows by David Allen and the Roadworks Band at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. in the Auditorium Pavilion. The World’s Largest Demolition Derby will take place at the Arena beginning at 7 p.m. Admission for that event is $4. Finally, a giant sundae will be served in the Dairy Tent at 8:30 p.m. followed by the 4-H Dance at 9:30 p.m.
The Farm Show runs through Saturday off Route 68. Admission is $8 per person.
