With the constant rain over the last 24 hours, that has led to a number of roads being closed.
Due to the shut downs, the Butler Area School District opted for a two-hour delay. District officials say that it is due to severe flooding on some roads in the district.
A stretch of Meridian Road that goes through Renfrew has been shut down due to flooded roadways.
Police also say that portions of Renfrew Road are closed as well due to a flood.
Also, a stretch of Route 38 is closed this morning as well. According to PennDOT, the shut down runs from the intersection with Route 68 to the dam and intersection with Mahood Road.
Officials urge drivers to use other routes and to not try to go through flooded roadways.
