A large amount of drugs found at a local motel last week has led to the arrest of two Butler natives.
According to a criminal complaint filed by the Butler County District Attorney’s Drug Taskforce, probation officers were give a tip about 34-year-old Carrie Nelson and 26-year-old Shane Miller staying at the Butler Township Super 8 motel last Tuesday (8/23).
Officers allegedly found a wide variety of drugs and drug paraphernalia in the room shared by the two including over 350 stamp bags of heroin, 100 grams of cocaine, and 50 grams of crack cocaine. The officers also found over $2,000 in cash.
Nelson and Miller are awaiting arraignment on charges including Possession with Intent to Deliver.
