The office of the Butler County Treasurer will reopen to the public on Monday, June 1st.
In order to protect the safety of employees and visitors, the office has implemented a number of changes from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The treasurer is asking that all visitors wear a mask and follow social distancing. The customer service area of the office is small so only one or two customers should be in that area at a time and only customers with business to conduct should enter the office. Signs will be posted to help guide the public and hand sanitizer will be available.
Organizations applying for Small Games of Chance, Special Raffle Permits, and Bingo Licenses should call ahead for an appointment time. The Treasurer’s office will continue to issue dog, hunting, and fishing licenses as well as sportsman’s pistol permits either online, by mail, or over the counter.
