According to the state’s daily update, there are now seven new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Butler County.
That brings the total in the county to 150.
Meanwhile, were just over 1,100 new cases across Pennsylvania today, bringing the number of confirmed cases in the state to 26,490.
The state also says that 647 people have died due to COVID-19 symptoms.
The Butler Health System, though, is reporting a decline in hospitalizations. As of Tuesday afternoon, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating seven people for coronavirus symptoms—two patients were in the ICU.
There are currently 2,390 people hospitalized in Pennsylvania with COVID-19 and 661 of those patients are on ventilators.
