Young people interested in learning more about caring for children are welcome to take advantage of a class being offered this weekend.
The Butler County Parks and Recreation Department is conducting a Safe Sitter Babysitter Training Classes this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Slippery Rock Park Building.
The class is designed for ages 11 to 15 and emphasizes prevention, safety, responsibility, leadership and professionalism.
The cost of the class is $49 and includes all materials needed. Class size is limited and pre-registration is required. Call 724-284-5383 for more information.
