An Armstrong County woman has been charged following an accident over the weekend in Center Township that seriously injured a Boyers man.
According to State Police, 58-year-old Alice Patz of Kittanning was traveling on Route 8 north near the intersection with Hilltop Drive Sunday just before 11 p.m. when she attempted to make a U-turn.
This caused a Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by 29-year-old Luke DeAngelis of Boyers to hit the first vehicle. Patz sustained minor injuries and was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment. DeAngelis was flown to Allegheny General Hospital for treatment of serious injury.
Police have charged Patz with a driving violation.
