The Butler County commissioners unanimously approved the county’s 2018 budget today.
County property taxes are remaining stable. The nearly $64.5 million budget was presented to thte board earlier this month and it did not include a real estate tax increase.
The biggest county expenses continue to be rising employee costs and benefits.
Wednesday’s public meeting was moved to the commissioner’s office due to a heating issue in the public conference room.
The budget is posted online.
