We’re expected to get a bit of break from the scorching temperatures as we head into the weekend, but there are still some flooding concerns to worry about now.
Butler County is under a Flash Flood Watch until midnight on Thursday.
“Rainfall totals of 1.0 to 2.5 inches are expected, with higher amounts in some areas,” according to the National Weather Service. “Flash flooding is possible as a result.”
The NWS expects it to get cloudier as we move throughout the day, with temperatures reaching a high near 83 degrees. On Wednesday, Butler County hit 91, with a ‘feels like’ tempertaure near 100.
Thursday night’s low is expected to be 68. A high of 77 degrees is expected on Friday.
