Local students will be among those participating in a regional competition.
Teams from Butler Senior High School and Moniteau High School are two of 34 groups of students competing in the National Robotics League event on Friday and Saturday, May 18 and 19, at California University of Pennsylvania.
These teams competed at the Southwest PA Bots IQ finals last month at Butler County Community College and now they are advancing to the next round in the competition.
The National Robotics League is a manufacturing workforce development program where students design and build remote controlled robots to face-off in a gladiator-style competition.
