Northern Butler County remains under a Flood Warning until about noon Monday.
After incessantly raining on both Saturday and Sunday, the rain continued- heavy at times- into early Monday morning.
The National Weather Service expects the rain to taper off by noon, and be completely out of the area by Tuesday.
According to the National Weather Service in Pittsburgh, the rainfall on Sunday in Pittsburgh was the second most rainfall ever to fall in a day, with 3.73 inches recorded. The most rainfall ever recorded in a day was back in 2004 when the area saw the remnants of Hurricane Ivan.
