The Butler County Parks and Recreation Department will host an Easter egg hunt with a twist later this week at Alameda Park in Butler Township.
On Friday, April 7, children ages ten and younger are invited out to the park for a Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt. Two sessions will be offered, one at 6pm for children four and younger, and a second session at 7:30pm for children ages five to ten.
During both sessions, which meets at the Masonic Shelter, children will be read clues that guide them to hidden eggs. Crafts and food will be provided to participating children. Participants are also asked to bring their own flashlight.
There is a $7 fee to participate and registration is preferred.
