The Butler County Parks and Recreation Department will go digital.
The new software will allow county residents to register for park programs and other events online, which they have not been able to do up until this point.
“This will be a much better tool for us to use,” Lance Welliver, director of Butler County Parks and Recreation, said.
The cost of the new program is about $5,000 per year.
Butler County Commissioner Leslie Osche said the move was ‘long overdue.’
