A Butler County man is among twelve people recently charged with narcotics and firearms violations by a federal grand jury in Pittsburgh.
Shawn Hendrix, 42, of Cranberry Township is one of the defendants accused of conspiracy to possess and distribute 400 grams, or more, of fentanyl and heroin.
This is alleged to have occurred between September of 2016 and July of 2017 in Butler, Beaver and Allegheny counties.
Hendrix is facing a maximum sentence of between 10 years and life in prison, as well as a fine of $10 million.
