Butler County continues to maintain the lowest unemployment rate in the seven-county region.
According to the latest numbers from the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, the jobless rate in Butler was 5.5 percent in October.
The regional jobless rate was 6 percent.
Government surveys count people as unemployed when they take specific actions to look for a job.
