The Butler County Historical Society has received the Commercial Pride Award from the City of Butler.
Mayor Tom Donaldson made the presentation to Director Pat Collins and board member Kenny Bonus at Thursday night’s meeting.
The society received this award chiefly due to their efforts with the recent Walldogs mural painting in the city last month.
Collins said that the group had a great time and is already looking forward to maybe returning someday.
